Boats
Boats of all kinds are a common feature of south-west Ireland—large boats, small boats, new boats, old boats, working boats, derelict boats. As well as the intrinsic interest of their shapes and textures, their presence in the landscape or seascape conveys something of the soul of the place. Most of these boats are, or were, around the Beara peninsula.
